“EASY ARABIC COURSE (Durus al-Lughat al-Arabiyyah) is the latest and revised Arabic Language Series, designed to learn Arabic for the beginners. It helps reading, writing and speaking in a easy way. A novel approach adopted by the author is to compel the learner to develop a habit of self-study and that too with user’s friendly method. The linguistic content is, no doubt, specific in terms of grammatical structures and functional exponents.
Its primary aim is to teach the basic principles of Arabic grammar, correct usage and the fundamental law of composition as per the curricula and norms prescribed by Islamic University of Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
ARABIC, the language of Qur’an and Sunnah, ranks sixth in the world with an estimated 186 million native speakers. Classical Arabic, the language of the Qur’an was originally the dialect of Makkah (Saudi Arabia). Modern Standard Arabic, the adopted form, is used in books, newspapers and conversation. .
In Arabic there are 28 consonants and three vowels, a. i, u, which can be short or long. The normal word order of a sentence is verb/subject/object. Prof. V Abdur Rahim, a well-known Arabic literate, obtained his doctorate in the Arabic language from the renowned Al-Azhar University. He has been teaching Arabic for more than four decades and was, for a long time, a principal lecturer of Arabic to foreign students at Islamic University of Madinah. He has structured the curriculum for Arabic Learners in a classical and comprehensive way. This enables the learner to get acquainted with Qur’anic exegesis, hadith, fiqh, sirah, Islamic history, especially the Modern and Classical Arabic Literature .
